Justin Timberlake won several awards in his career like the six Grammy Awards, two Emmy Awards and a host of other accolades. Recently, added another trophy in his collection: the Hasty Pudding award from Harvard University.
The singer, 28, has been named the 2010 Man of the Year by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama club. Justin is not only a singer, but also a songwriter, an actor and producer who was chosen to be “one of pop culture’s most influential entertainers,” the troupe said in a statement.
On the other hand, Anne Hathaway, was recently named the group’s Woman of the Year. Consequently, Anne and Justin will receive the award at a roast on Feb. 5.
Moreover, the singer, will perform in the forthcoming movie The Social Network, which is set at Harvard and tells the story of the founding of Facebook.
Hasty Pudding Theatricals tradition started in 1951. Last year’s honorees were Renée Zellweger and James Franco.
