Al-Qaida announces movement restriction in Iraq in order to prevent the elections

An al-Qaeda message posted on its Web site states that “Islamic State decreed restrictions on movement for election day (…), from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout Iraq and especially in Sunni areas “, says SITE.

“For the security of our people, all those who read here to share those who do not know, in order to supply so that they ensure their needs during the movement restrictions,” the message added.

The Islamic State in Iraq, the official wing of al-Qaida in the country, warns that anyone violates these restrictions will “sadly expose to Allah’s anger and all kinds of weapons of Mujahedins.
