Michelle Obama, a trendsetter for Oprah

That happened also back in 2008 presidential campaign, when she threw her support behind a little-known U.S. Senator named Barack Obama that become the first black US President.

Oprah’s magazine is also high on the First Lady of the United States in what concerns her fashion sense.

Therefore, yesterday, while hosting J.Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons on a special “Dream Jobs” episode of her show, the media made an interesting admission.

After seeing Michelle Obama pictures showing her in relatively affordable J. Crew cardigans, sweaters and skirts, O went and became a J. Crew investor.

“The very first time I saw the First Lady, before she became the First Lady, wearing J. Crew – full disclosure – I went and bought J.Crew stock,” she said.
The host also said : “That [investment] was a very good decision.”
