The Christian-Jewish wedding – held in Rhinebeck – was co-officiated by Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady for the Jewish groom and Methodist bride, says a press release from the family, reported in the New York Times. Along with their vows, there was a reading of the Seven Blessings, a Jewish tradition.

“Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends,” The Clintons said in a statement.

Numerous rumors said that the wedding costs rise up to $5.000.000. Sound big, huh? Check out the numbers.

Despite other rumors, Barack Obama didn’t go to Chelsea’s wedding because he wasn’t invited.

Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in numbers

It seems that event organizers didn’t save any money on what could become the international wedding, the costs for each of the 500 invited rising to $10,000.

Tents in the town of Rhinebeck, located near New York, have cost about $625,000, tables and plates will cost $100,000 and flowers – mostly orchids and lilies – $500,000.

The wedding dress – signed by Vera Wang – cost about $25,000 and jewelry that the bride will wear worth $250,000. The wedding cake cost $10,000 and the security device, $200,000.

So, you do the math.

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Hilary and Bill Clinton, marries Marc Mezvinsky, a bank investor.

They know each other since they were teenagers and studied both at Stanford University. Marc Mezvinsky father, former congressman Edward Mezvinsky, served a five-years sentence for fraud.

Rhinebeck City Council received a request to supplement the number of police during the ceremony. The application was approved, but there were critics who called that all additional funds to be paid by the bride’s father, former Democratic President Bill Clinton.

Rhinebeck is a town with 8,000 people, situated about 100 km north of New York. Mrs Bill and Hillary Clinton live in Chappaqua situated nearby, since 2000.

Oksana Grigorieva black eye photo is “absurd”

The fact that the picture appeared this week is doubtful. According to sources, the idea that Oksana held back the photo with her black eye on purpose during the mediation in May is “absurd.”

A source says, “She produced photos of her mouth showing the damage to her veneers, she testified in great detail about the January 6 incident.” “If she had a black eye she would have said it.”

Is she exaggerating the attack and manufacturing the evidence? That seems to happen at first sight, says a TMZ source.

Inside sources, said her financial situation is not exactly happy, Oksana “held every piece of damaging evidence” over Mel Gibson’s head and that is what produced a $15 million settlement.

The $15 million agreement, however, was rejected by Oksana due to a clause saying that Mel should have 80% custody over Lucia. A source said, “If there was a black eye it would have been $16 million.”

The sources note something else: there was a confidentiality agreement in the settlement so it would have been pointless for Oksana to hold anything back because it could never be used again.

None of the doctors Oksana visited immediately after the incident haven’t seen the bruise around her eye. Oksana’s dentist didn’t mentioned anything that Oksana had a black eye. Two days later, her pediatrician also didn’t notice this.

However, this doesn’t proves that Mel is innocent, and no matter what happened, he really needs special assistance. On the other hand we doubt some of her accusations.

Michael Jackson’s new album with ten songs unknown to the public, will be released in November

The man in charge with preparing the new album is Rodney Jerkins, the producer of the album “Invincible” in 2001, Michael Jackson’s last studio album, before his death in June last year.

The album will be released by Sony Music in November after completion a business-record by the production house, which has paid in March, 250 million dollars to Michael Jackson’s heirs to edit ten albums of his music and launch artist name associated derivatives in the next seven years.

Besides these ten songs to be released on the new album, “The King of Pop” left behind about 100 other songs that have not been released yet, many of them dating from his heyday, in the 80s. Artist manager, Frank DiLeo, confirmed that some songs were recorded by Michael Jackson with Akon and, in the ’90s.

Michael Jackson is not the first artist whose career continues long after his death. Seven original albums under Tupac Shakur’s signature was released after the rapper was killed in 1996. Also, Johnny Cash’s first album, came in first place, was launched in 2006, three years after the death of the famous country singer.

Casey Affleck, accused again of sexual harassment

On July 23, Amanda White, one of the producers of “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year Of Joaquin Phoenix”, sued Casey Affleck for sexual harassment and unpaid services, after she refused to spend one night with him in a hotel room.

However, Magdalena Gorka, who was also part of the team film, sued the actor on Friday, accusing him of harassment, failing to paid her work or credit her when the abuse forced her to leave the project. The requested damages rise to $2.25 million.

Affleck’s spokesman said that a declaration on new charges is to be released.

In White’s action case, Casey Affleck dismissed the accusations, threatening that he will also sue White demanding that this case be resolved through private arbitration (by an independent person who decides what are the rights and obligations incumbent upon each party. Arbitration is also faster and less expensive). Affleck’s lawyer, Marty Singer, said that Amanda White “continuously used different threats and outrageous demands in order to request compensation she was not legally entitled to receive.”.

On the other hand, according to information from the process intended by Magdalena Gorka, when they started production of the documentary “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix” in mid-December in New York, she was the only woman on set. Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck, who is married with Phoenix’s sister, Summer, decided that team should stay in Joaquin’s apartment, instead of going to a hotel. Gorka claims that Phoenix said she can sleep in his room and he will sleep on the couch.

“During the middle of the night, (Gorka) awoke to find Affleck lying in the bed next to her,” the lawsuit alleges.

“Unbeknownst to (Gorka), Affleck had entered the bedroom while she was asleep and crawled into the bed. When she woke up, Affleck was curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a t-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol.”

Gorka said she was shocked because she didn’t know how long Affleck had been there or where she had been touched. She says she immediately told him to get out of bed. “Affleck responded by asking ‘Why?,'” according to the lawsuit. “(Gorka) said, ‘Because you are married and because you are my boss.’ Affleck, undeterred, asked if (Gorka) ‘was sure.’ (Gorka) said she was sure and insisted that he leave the room. He left and slammed the door in anger.”

The woman also claims that she spoked with Affleck about the incident the next day and then took a plane to Los Angeles to consult with her agent before leaving the project. But not finding work, she returned several weeks later after Amanda White, meanwhile, engaged in the project as the producer, assurring her that she’ll be present at the shooting.

The indictment says the abuse continued, Gorka being insulted and verbally attacked by Affleck, after she refused his sexual advances in New York. She abandoned the project again, after which Affleck refused to honor their verbal understanding that she’ll be paid a $300 per-day fee and a deferred $700-a-day fee when the film sold to a distributor (Magnolia Pictures bought the film in July and plans to launch in autumn). Gorka says she also has been stripped of her “director of photography” credit.

Her lawyer, Brian Procel, said his client’s decision to sue him was not easy for her. “In her 16 years of working in the entertainment industry she has never accused anyone of sexual harassment,” Procel says. “Ms. Gorka knows there will be repercussions, and that she will be exposed to attacks mounted by Affleck’s high-paid publicists and ‘bulldog’ attorneys. She ultimately decided that the truth needs to come out. We look forward to our day in court.”

The Gorka complaint alleges causes of action for intentional infliction of emotional distress, constructive discharge in violation of public policy, breach of oral contract, negligent infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and negligence.

Gorka is represented by Procel, Skip Miller and Mira Hashmall at Los Angeles firm Miller Barondess, which also represents White. Defendants are Affleck and Flemmy Prods.

Jennifer Lopez suicide intentions

Jennifer was twice-divorced and has had several unsuccessful relationships with stars including P. Diddy and Ben Affleck.

“I always made the same mistake: I threw myself passionately into a new relationship because I believed in love, as I still do, despite all the disappointments, pain and depression,” she said.

“There were moments I wished I didn’t have a heart, because it hurt so much. When a love ended, a love I had believed in so hard, I wished I could crawl away like a dying animal.”

But all those hard times are over because the singer has a happy marriage with Marc Anthony and they are the proud parents of Max and Emme twins.

“I have learned not to give up,” she said. “Not to run away being resigned after every contention. In my opinion there is no couple made for each other, two people are just too different.

“To love means to adjust and to accept that my partner is not the ideal man because he doesn’t exist just as his ideal woman doesn’t.”
