The due date for Preston is November 26, but Travolta says his wife had a bit of a difficult time lately.
He said that while he is in Australia for the 90th anniversary of Qantas Airways, he is ready to fly home at any time.
“When I left, she was having what they call Braxton Hicks, the fake labor, and we were both a little worried. But then the doctor said to drink more water, more liquids and that stops that. I think she just had a little talk with Ben and said, ‘Look, let’s wait till Dad comes home and deliver then.’ But I’m ready to go at any minute, if she started having labor now we would leave and take 22 hours to get home, but I’ll get there,” he says.
Travolta is planning to spend the holidays on the east coast with the whole family, including their 10-year-old daughter, Ella, and they will travel to Maine for Christmas.
In January 2009, the couple’s eldest son, Jett, died after a convulsion. He was only 16 years old.
