Just two weeks after unveiling the new C-Klasse facelift, in sedan and wagon versions, Mercedes published the first images of the coupe model. The long-awaited C-Klasse coupe, intended to beat famous rivals such as the Audi A5 and BMW Series 3 Coupe, will be displayed in a world premiere next week at the Auto Show in Detroit.
The three-door version takes the front look from the sedan and wagon versions, practically adopting the facelift of the entire range. The novelty appears in the rear, where emphasis is put on the sporting aspect given by the tilting last row of pillars and the arched profile. The interior is also an exact copy of the one from the C-Class Estate model.
For starters, the freshest member of the range will be equipped with two gasoline engines, a 1.8-liter one and a 3.0 liter one. For diesel fans there will be only one option, a 2.2-liter engine. Even so, customers will be offered engines with power ranging between 120 and 306 hp.
