Golden Globes 2011: The Social Network and Glee take the lead

With four statuettes, the movie The Social Network was the big winner of the evening, making it a favorite at the Oscars. The film won the award for Best Motion Picture, Best Director for David Fincher, Best Screenplay for Aaron Sorkin and Best Original Score, penned by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

As for actors, Natalie Portman was voted Best Actress for her role in the film Black Swan and Colin Firth won the Best Actor for The King’s Speech.

In the television area, Glee won prestigious awards, such as the one for Best Television Series, and those of Best Supporting Actress for Jane Lynch and Best Supporting Actor for Chris Colfer.
