After a long wait, mainly supported by several video teasers, Pagani has decided to reveal Zonda’s successor, named Huayra. The company’s newest creation comes after seven years of meticulous development, with the main element of inspiration being the wind. Hence the name of the supercar.
As expected, the exotic model renews the cooperation between Pagani and the AMG performance division of Mercedes. Of course, under the beautifully contoured body lies a propeller of German roots, a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12, capable of a total of 700 horsepower and a torque of 1000 Nm. The twelve-cylinder unit is assisted by a six-sequential transmission, positioned crosswise.
Resources provided by the AMG unit will be sufficient to get notable performances from the Pagani supercar that weighs only 1,350 kg, well distributed on both axles, with a 44/56 ratio. According to an official announcement, Huyra becomes the lightest representative of the segment.
Although Pagani hasn’t released details on the time between 0 and 100 km / h so far, it’s likely that Huayra will impress on this chapter, while ensuring a high speed value of 370 km / h.
