The trial of Conrad Murray will begin March 24. Lawyers for Michael Jackson’s doctor have found a defense to avoid a conviction for “involuntary manslaughter”.
According to TMZ, Dr. Conrad Murray will declare that the death of the King of Pop is not due to propofol, a powerful anesthetic, but to the star’s weakened state.
Add to that the extreme weakness and fatigue the artist was facing in the course of promoting the “This Is It” tour, which forced him to repeat for many hours. Dr. Murray’s statements should be supported by witnesses who attended the rehearsals of Michael Jackson.
Apart from the star’s poor health, Dr. Conrad Murray will argue that Jackson himself administered propofol to himself during his absence. This trial will in any case draw much attention and excite millions of fans around the world who will also attend various hearings.
