The collision occurred in Stephenville, Texas, on Friday, March 11, reports TMZ. A fire truck smashed into her car while she was driving her sedan.
The singer and her passenger were immediately taken to a hospital.
The singer-songwriter confirmed she was expecting two months ago. She and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray, have been struggling to have a baby in a long time.
Fortunately, it was more fear than harm. After a series of tests, the hospital has seen the baby and the mother had suffered no traumatic consequences as a result of the collision and Jewel could return home.
According to Jewel’s rep, “The singer was taken to the hospital and current medical tests conducted indicate that she and the baby are doing fine.”
