Also, TMZ sources say nothing was decided at the meeting.
A spokesman for the broadcaster refused to comment on the news.
Sheen, however, posted a message on Twitter that could confirm the meeting.
“#Foxball; Perhaps a new lair…..? A Fox and a Warlock? epic,” he wrote.
RadarOnline reports that the president of CBS, Les Moonves, supports Sheen’s return to its network. The actor was recently fired from the sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”
“Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He’s all for it. He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie’s done recently and just move on with the business at hand,” a source told RadarOnline.
The big boss at CBS have even reached out to the creator of “Two and a Half Men”, Chuck Lorre, with whom Sheen has been at war, informing him that he would personally deal with the actor.
“The core issue is, as he put it, the volatile relationship between Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. He believes that if CBS and Warner Bros. TV honchos can find a way to get Chuck and Charlie to speak again, cooler heads will prevail,” the insider adds.
