Miley Cyrus’s mom Tish says family is “stronger than ever”

Tish has revealed that her family is “stronger than ever” following her reunion with estranged husband Billy Ray.

She took to Facebook to share her appreciation: “Big thanks to all of our family, friends, and fans who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers. I feel so blessed to have so much support from all of you.”

“Our family weathered a huge storm and I feel we are stronger than we have ever been,” she continues. “Much love to all of you guys! You’re the BEST.”

The couple filed for divorce last October to end their 17-year marriage.

After the divorce filing, Billy Ray gave an interview to GQ in which he said the show Hannah Montana was responsible for “destroying my family.” He also said he believed daughter Miley surrounded herself with people that were a bad influence for her.

But last week, Billy Ray confirmed that they have decided to give it another shot.

“Things are the best they’ve ever been,” he said on The View. “I want to put my family back together.”

A source told People that the reconciliation has already changed Miley in a positive way.

“Miley seems happier and more relaxed in the past few days,” the source said. “When Tish is having a hard time, Miley spends more time with her. Now [that] the divorce is called off, Tish is doing better and Miley is getting her life back.”

Miley hasn’t made any comment on the subject so far, but she’s been reappearing on Twitter in the meanwhile. She doesn’t have her own account back yet but she’s tweeting under her record production company Rock Mafia.

“This is my new way to connect. When I need to speak out I will tweet from @Rock_Mafia ROCK MAFIA FOREVER xMC,” she wrote.
