The 25-year-old reality star admits that she still struggles to find confidence and says she doesn’t feel like she has a sexy side.
“They called me “reality show talent” and I’m like, ‘What’s my talent?’” she says.
“I’m not a sexy person. I’m OK with it. I’ve never been a sexy girl. Whenever I’ve had a boyfriend, he’s always been like, ‘Oh, you’re cute.”
Lauren also confides that at times she finds reports about her weight frustrating.
“You’re the first person to notice any weight gain or loss, and then to have it pointed out can be embarrassing. You have two good angles and a hundred bad ones,” she tells the mag.
“I’ve seen photos of myself and cringed: ‘Oh, God, I can never wear those pants again!’” she adds. “If I’m shopping and I see paparazzi, my bag goes directly to my thighs.”
Would plastic surgery make her feel more confident? Judging by what she had to say about her former best friend and co-star, Heidi Montag, who had more than 10 procedures, she doesn’t seem eager to try that out.
“I saw the magazine just like everybody else,” Lauren says. “I don’t think this is a happy story at all, there’s just no right answer there.”
Conrad is currently designing clothes for Kohl’s and her new line, Paper Crown. In her private life, she’s keeping her relationship with actor Kyle Howard away from the spotlight.
