Charlie Sheen bails former baseball star Lenny Dykstra out of jail

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen paid $22,500 to bail former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny “Nails” Dykstra out of jail.

Dykstra was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of illegally removing and selling personal property from his home without official permission.

Sheen reportedly fronted $22,500 for Dykstra’s $150,000 bail. The former baseball player spent about a week in jail before his friend came to the rescue.

“The rendition guilty trolls that kidnapped my dear friend Nails clearly forgot that he’s a fellow Vatican assassin and his best pal is a warlock,” Sheen told TMZ.

Dykstra had tried to hire a lawyer to negotiate Sheen’s return to CBS’s sitcom “Two and a Half Men” after Sheen was fired from the show.
