The former child actress, who starred in Little House on the Prairie, apologized to Maria Shriver in a recent interview.
“I am very sorry for the mistakes I made in the past and for being intimate with your husband, and I would hope that you would forgive me for that,” she said.
Coyette, 52, had already talked about her relationship with Scwharzie in the past. She said she had been paid to stay silent about her sexual relationship with the star, which had begun in 1975 when she was 17.
“This woman recently sold at least four stories to the tabloids relating to my client,” Schwarzenegger’s attorney Marty Singer said. “She’s just a person who wants to make money selling stories. Her actions speak for themselves.”
Goyette’s lawyer, Glorid Allred, says her client’s reason for going public with the story now “is to set the record straight about the nature of her relationship with Arnold.”
Allred had no comment when asked if Goyette has sold her story to four tabloids.
