Britney Spears not legally competent to appear in court, lawyers say

Brand Sense Partners are suing Britney for $10 million, claiming she backed them out of a deal and replacing them with Elizabeth Arden, reports Daily Mail.

Her lawyers fired back, arguing that the singer can’t be deposed because she’s not competent enough since she is under a conservatorship and can’t be forced to testify without the permission of a qualified conservatorship’s attorney.

However, Brand Sense Partners is tired of waiting for the attorneys give their approval and is now asking the judge to order Britney to sit for the deposition.
