Selena Gomez: “feeling much better” after being hospitalized

Contrary to the rumor that ran this weekend, the Wizards of Waverly Place star is not pregnant. The 18-year-old singer was hospitalized on Thursday for nausea and a severe headache.

Now Selena is set to show up in Santa Monica, at a mall show to promote her upcoming movie, Monte Carlo.

“Feeling much better, thank you all for being so understanding,” Gomez tweeted on Monday. “Can’t wait to see you all today at Santa Monica Place for the Monte Carlo kick off.”

Gomez was invited on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where she felt sick and nauseous. She consequently had to cancel one of her scheduled appearances.

Selena was released on Saturday from the hospital where she has undergone blood tests. Her health problems might be due to overwork or food poisoning.

On Friday Justin Bieber took to Twitter to encourage his girlfriend. “#getwellselena,” he wrote.

Her third album When The Sun Goes Down, preceded by the single “Bang Bang Bang,” is announced for June 28. A Selena Gomez – Justin Bieber duet called “Don’t Forget” was also recorded. It is not known yet if it will be included on the disc.
