Despite her recent separation from Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez was radiant on Saturday night.
The singer chose to party in Miami with friends and family. One of the highlights was a chic dinner on the night from Saturday to Sunday at Scott Conant’s restaurant, Scarpetta, at the fascinating Fontainebleau hotel on Miami Beach.
The singer was surrounded by 16 people including her mother, her sister, her manager and stylist. The meal was true to Italian tradition and included spaghetti with tomato and basil, foie gras ravioli and polenta.
“Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress,” a source cited by People said. “And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing. She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant.”
Earlier that day, Lopez went for a shopping spree, buying several baby outfits for 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
On Friday night, Lopez enjoyed a meal with friends and family at the Wine Cellar of the Forge on Miami Beach. Apparently it’s a place she and ex-husband Marc loved to dine at.
“Jennifer and her group arrived around 9 p.m. and went directly to the private wine cellar for a pre-birthday dinner,” another insider told the mag. “It was very secluded and beautiful among the bottles with bold and vibrant labels. The meal was served on a long rectangle mirrored table with cloud-like chandeliers hanging above.”
The source added that Jennifer was “chatty and charming” throughout the evening.
