Alexander McQueen left more than $ 82,000 to his pet dogs

British designer Alexander McQueen, who died in February 2010, gave $ 26 million to his dogs and two charities that take care of animals, according to his will.

His three dogs, identified by the names of Minter, Juice and Callum, have all received the tidy sum of $ 82,000 to fill their needs until their death.

The same amount was allocated to nephews, nieces and two faithful servants.

$ 164,000 were donated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and The Blue Cross, two organizations that help abandoned animals find a home.

“It is a touching tribute to his obvious love for his dogs. His legacy will allow us to help many thousands more sick and homeless animals across the U.K.,” Kim Hamilton, Blue Cross’s chief executive, told the AP.
