The two lovebirds, both 39, chose St. Bartholomew in the Caribbean as a location for the ceremony.
On Saturday morning, Brooke wrote on her Twitter page: “morning tweeties. Waiting for LA to wake up….big news to share.”
“Want to thank everyone for their support,” Charvet, 39, tweeted Saturday. “It has been a great day!”
Last year, Brooke took to her blog to explain why they waited so long after their engagement before finally tying the knot.
“We started talking about why to do it at this point in our relationship. ’Do you want forever?’ David asked. ‘Yes, I need forever,’ I said. It was just that simple. I would like to have a husband.”
The couple’s two children, son Shaya, 3, and daughter Rain, 4½, were present, as well as Brooke’s daughters Sierra, 9, and Neriah, 11, from her previous marriage to Garth Fisher.
This is the first marriage for the former Baywatch actor.
