Kim Kardashian’s wedding: neighbors’ complaints ended the party early

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries celebrated their lavish wedding on Saturday, in California. And while everything was at its best, the party was spoiled by the intervention of the police following a complaint from some neighbors due to noise.

“They had to shut down the music early,” a source told Us Weekly.

Kim’s sister Khloe tried negotiate with the cops but she was powerless. “She was talking to security guards – her friend’s family knows the mayor of Montecito and they tried even to get in touch with him. Everyone in the neighborhood knew this wedding was happening. Just let them have their fun!”

One of the guests told the New York Post: “Around midnight DJ Cassidy, who had been spinning for an hour, was ordered to shut down because the neighbors were complaining about the volume of the music. The neighbors didn’t come over, but they called the police.”

“Kim took the news OK and seemed relaxed about it, but her sister Khloe was pretty upset and making a bit of a scene,” the source continued. “She kept talking to the wedding planner to see if there was anything they could do, but there wasn’t. But the party kept going anyway and most people stayed until about 2 a.m. Despite the early end to the dancing, everyone had a great time, and Kim looked beautiful and very happy.”

Before the police raid, the newlyweds and their guests danced to Robin Thicke and Earth, Wind & Fire. The American crooner also introduced the couple as Mr and Mrs Humphries in the tent and the two performed their first dance to Thicke’s song Angel.
