Beyoncé won’t be performing via satellite at Michael Jackson tribute concert

Beyonce was previously listed as scheduled to perform via satellite. However, according to the website Ticketmaster, the 30-year-old singer will make “a special contribution on video.”

“Beyonce won’t be performing a song live via satellite for the tribute concert now,” a source told RadarOnline.

Some members of the Jackson family have said that they won’t be attending the event. Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson are boycotting the event because it occurs simultaneously with the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, charged in the death of Michael.

Other big names that will perform include Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis and Ne-Yo.

In addition, concert promoters are now offering a 2-for-1 deals for tickets, making MJ fans who have already bought a seat furious to find that they won’t qualify for the new offer

The concert will be held in Cardiff, Wales, on October 8.
