Carla Bruni-Sarkozy pregnancy: the French first lady to give birth tonight?

The French media speculates that the delivery is scheduled for this evening at the chic Clinique de La Muette in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, whose surroundings have been placed under strict surveillance.

According to the site Voici, cars parked in front of the property received a public notice on their windshields yesterday that read: “The Directorate of Public Order and Traffic urges you not to park your vehicle here as of Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 09:00. After this interval, your vehicle will be moved by us.”

Reports say Bruni has reserved four rooms that cost 250 euros per night.

One of the rooms will be for her, while the other have been reserved for French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his bodyguards.

However, the French press writes that the rooms are not of great luxury, just a bit larger than other hospital rooms.
