Marie Osmond is “doing really well” after being rushed to hospital


“I’m fine,” Osmond told People. “I had a cough. I’m doing really well. It was a big deal that was made from nothing.”

The 52-year-old was admitted to a hospital on Wednesday after suffering vocal chord problems while performing on stage at a Las Vegas variety show with brother Donny.

The singer’s voice began to sound hoarse and strained during the show and she was diagnosed with a bad case of bronchitis. She was released after two hours at the hospital.

Osmond performed a 90-minute set only 24 hours after her hospital visit.

On Saturday, the singer showed up at Flamingo Las Vegas to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her doll collection and laughed off rumors that she was in much worse condition.

“Getting ready for the doll signing,” she Tweeted. “Should I wear red to be festive???.or just stay in my hospital gown since I’m in a coma!! ? 😉 LOL.”
