The book will provide practical advice on the etiquette to be followed in order to become a perfect host for receptions and special dinners.

According to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister has had two meetings with publishing executives at HarperCollins.

Her book, which could be released by Christmas 2012, will include, according to the British press, etiquette tips, culinary advice and a section, inspired by her blog, called The Party Times, dedicated to children.

“Pippa is very serious about the project and has been going to see publishers personally. Pippa hasn’t signed a contract yet but I don’t think it will be far off,” reports the Daily Mail.

Book earnings are estimated at $1.6 million.
