Kim even brings arguments to sustain her point! Who would marry for a reality show, she asks?!!
The 31-year-old even wrote a letter to her family, explaining her decision: “Kris is a great guy but we come from such different worlds and he isn’t what I thought when we 1st met,” reports TMZ.
“I do want to make clear that I would never marry for a TV show, for money, for anything like that. I think that’s really ridiculous that I have to even defend that,” Kim said in an interview with Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O talk show.
“I guess, you know, that comes along with when you film your wedding for a reality show,” she added.
We’re doing this insight in order to try to understand, more or less, Kim’s decision.
In addition, Kim’s divorce attorney, Laura Wasser, stands by Kim’s version, telling TMZ that the reality star’s marriage was real.
“Our office did indeed negotiate and prepare a prenup for Ms. Kardashian. Given what I know regarding that document, it is not plausible that this marriage was a sham,” Wasser said.
Recently Kim granted an interview for the December 2011 issue of Marie Claire, not long before filing for divorce from Kris Humphries, in which she explains: “I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy. He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check. He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time. He gets it. Sometimes my life can be really intimidating for people, but he allows me to work and do what I’ve gotta do.”
On the other hand, Kim Kardashian’s former publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, calls her marriage to Kris Humphries a sham, claiming she is still in love with Reggie Bush.
“Two weeks prior to her wedding she knew it was not something she wanted to do. Unfortunately they were obligated to honor contracts [with the E! network which had TV rights] otherwise they would have owed a lot of people a lot of money,” Jaxson told Good Day LA.
“She’s never gotten over Reggie Bush,” he added.
What do you think? Is there a grain of truth in the story or is it just speculation?
