Samsung Galaxy B rumored to feature edge-to-edge display

According to Korean newspaper Maeil Business (via Sammyhub), the company has been working on the device for a while now and it is said to be marketed in the second or third quarter of 2012.

The only bezel would lie at the top of the handset, at the level of the camera, sensor and ear-piece that have to be integrated. No physical buttons would be placed at the bottom of the unit.

Some speculate that such a design could be featured on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3. Last October images of the S3 leaked on the net, showing no sign of side borders.

In addition, the smartphone is rumored to sport OLED, AMOLED or flexible screen technology with which Samsung has been juggling lately.

As for features of the Galaxy S3, its existence was confirmed last month when Samsung’s senior vice president of marketing Younghee Lee revealed that the company is “still reviewing” when the next Galaxy S phone will be launched.
