According to S4Gru.com, which cites Sprint sources that are part of the Sprint Product Development division, both the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper will be unveiled on April 15th.
Given that the handset has recently passed the FCC, a launch in the near future seems highly probable.
However, due to Sprint’s limited LTE infrastructure, the Galaxy Nexus won’t be launched with LTE turned on. Instead, it will support eHRPD, a protocol which allows the phone to switch between 3G EVDO and 4G LTE connections seamlessly.
The device is rumored to feature a 1280 x 720 resolution touchscreen, dual-core processor and the latest Android version.
The site also reports that an HTC device codenamed “Jet” and offering 4G LTE support will be released by Sprint on June 10th.
