MacBook Air and iMac rumored to get Retina Display

According to a report by 9to5Mac, Cupertino is working on bringing the Retina display to its Macbook Air and iMac lines.

The site writes that the company is preparing both 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch versions of the Macbook Airs.

These models will feature Ivy Bridge processors and improved graphics engines that will help support the Retina display.

In addition the Macbook Air, the iMac is also expected to sport Retina display.

The site notes that the new MacBook Air isn’t unlikely to be introduced at next month’s WWDC as Apple is “still working to meet the Retina display’s power requirements within the MacBook Air’s thin form factor.”
