9to5Mac cites sources within Apple that claim the company is looking to include refreshed versions of the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBookstore in its next mobile software.
The site notes however that these new stores won’t include improved discoverability on the backend.
Recently, the Cupertino-based tech giant acquired a company called Chomp that works on improving the discoverability of applications.
Apple will use the technology provided by Chomp for upgrading the digital stores. However, these updates aren’t likely to be featured in the iOS 6 since they won’t be ready until Apple launches the mobile software this month.
