This week we have: Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Avril Lavigne.
Recently, Demi Lovato released the song “Give Your Heart A Break”, the second single from her album “Unbroken”. She has received a gold record for “Unbroken” in Rio de Janeiro, filmed a documentary called “Stay Strong” and she is currently part of the X Factor judging panel.
The 19-year-old actress/singer had a great success with the Disney sitcom “Sonny with a Chance,” in the role of Sonny Munroe and her musical career which debuted with the album “Don’t Forget”. The secound album Here We Go Again and the third, Unbroken, were appreciated as much as the first album. Now the X Factor judge is working on her fourth album. In the recent months, the country singer with numerous awards in her record, donated $4 million to help the museum of Nashville. At the Academy Of Country Music Awards she was a winner in the “Entertainer of the Year” category. Swift has her own fragrance called “Wonderstruck” and she recently released a new single “Eyes Open,” a song for the soundtrack of “The Hunger Games.”
Taylor Swift released her debut single “Tim McGraw” in 2006 and appeared in the movie “Friends Together Forever, Star Wars Camp” in the role of Belle. The 2010 Grammy Awards brought the singer the trophies for “Best Female Country Vocal Performance” and “Best Country Song”. Taylor is noted for being the first female solo country artist to have written or co-written all the songs on her debut album which went Platinum.
The most recent appearances were at Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Kimmel in which Miley Cyrus performed her single “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When Yo” and on the acting side, she appears alongside Demi Moore in the latest movie “LOL “.
The singer/actress is well known for her role in the Hannah Montana series and her spectacular musical career. The Disney actress had a huge worldwide success with Hannah Montana and in October 2006 a soundtrack for the popular series was released. Her musical career starts with the album “Meet Miley Cyrus”, the second album was “Breakout”, both having a great success. Cyrus has a uniqe , strong, unmistakable voice. In May, Selena was in Bulgaria, where she filmed some scenes with Ethan Hawke for the movie “The Getaway.” She won a gold disc for the “When The Sun Goes Down” album in Los Angeles, released her first fragrance that bears her name and has received another gold disc in Mexic for her latest album.
Selena Gomez began her career at 7 in “Barney & Friends,” playing Gianna. In 2004, Gomez was discovered by Disney Channel. She appeared as a guest in the “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” and “Hannah Montana” before getting the role of Alexandra Margarita Russo in “Wizards of Waverly Place”. Released her debut album in 2009 called “Kiss and Tell” with her band ” The Scene.” In 2010 she released the album “A Year Without Rain”, and in 2011 she launched the album “When The Sun Goes Down”. Gomez has a soft, warm and unique.
Avril Lavigne has recently released a video for her single “Wish You Were Here”, from her new album. She has also entered the fashion world and launched a collection of clothes called Abbey Dawn-her nickname when she was little. Avril keeps her fans close as she dedicated the video for the song “Goodbye” to her admirers.
Until now Lavigne has released four studio albums: “Let Go” (2002), “Under My Skin” (2004), “The Best Damn Thing” (2007), “Goodbye Lullaby” (2011) for which she received numerous awards and has sold an impressive number of albums worldwide. Often called the “Princess of Pop Punk”, Lavigne is well known for the excessive use of chest voice. Her sound is powerful and her compositions appeal to teenagers in general.
