WWDC 2012: OS X Mountain Lion comes with Power Nap, Safari 6 and Game Center

This system allows Macs to run backups and “keeps data up to date” while the computer is in sleep mode.

Apple also announced the implementation of Game Center on Mac and the possibility to play games between Macs and other devices.

The company invited Stig from Top Gear to show how users can play the same game in multiplayer on a Mac and an iDevice.

For Safari 6, Apple improved the speed of loading and implemented the Safari iCloud Tabs system that allows users to synchronize open tabs on Macs with the Safari running on another device, but only if both devices are logged to the same iCloud account.

OS X Mountain Lion is set to be launched in July in the Mac App Store at a price of only $ 19.
