Toyota could use BMW 6 Series’ platform for future Supra

It is already certain that Toyota will build a sports model in collaboration with BMW.

The BMW 6 Series could be the basis from which Toyota will begin developing a new generation Supra.

Recently, BMW and Toyota have decided to expand their cooperation and sign on a new partnership, targeting mainly the common use of technologies that increase the efficiency of consumption and emissions.

However, the collaboration between the two auto companies could move forward to a sports model.

“A BMW insider speculated that the collaboration could provide the basis for the return of the Toyota Supra, possibly using the BMW 6-series architecture,” writes AutoNews.

Company sources claim that they could be talking about a current 6 Series generation architecture.
