Cupertino has been rumored to be planning to introduce a 4-inch screen with 1136 x 640 resolution in the iPhone 5.
Apple’s iOS Simulator developer app has shown that the iOS 6 screen can be scaled to fit a 640×1136 display with 5 rows of icons, making it the only resolution for which the simulator displays 5 rows of icons on the screen of an iPhone.
A zoomed in photo of the top area, showing the serial numbers and LCD connector, has also been posted by UBreakiFix.
The iPhone 5 is expected to arrive on September 12 and hit stores nine days later.
