Taylor Swift denies allegations she crashed a Kennedy wedding

The 22-year-old and her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy crashed the Boston wedding of his relative Kyle Kennedy last weekend.

In an interview with the Boston Herald, Kyle’s mother, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, claims that she asked the country star to leave but her request was just ignored.

“They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” she told the publication.

“I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway. … I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”

However, Swift’s rep told E! News that the accusations made by the mother of the bride are false.

“There is no truth to that. Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there,” her rep told the paper.

Swift and Conor Kennedy, who is four years her junior, were spotted visiting his mother Mary Richardson Kennedy’s grave the next day. She ended her life in May amid a bitter divorce with Conor’s father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
