PrimateLabs’ John Pool reported to MacRumors that the first benchmark for iPhone 5 has surfaced.
The results show that the iPhone 5’s score of 1601 beats any other iOS device.
The score is double that of the new iPad, which was previously the fastest iOS device with a GeekBench score of about 800.
The numbers apparently confirm Apple’s claim that the A6-powered iPhone 5 is twice as fast as other iOS devices running on the A5 chip.
The results also reveal a two ARMv7 cores clocked at 1.02GHz and 1GB of RAM.
