The Korea Times recently reported that Samsung was set to unveil the successor to the Galaxy S3 in February 2013 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The publication also wrote that the handset will be released a month later, in March.
But now Samsung confirmed through Twitter that the rumor “is not true.”
CNET posted a translation of the company’s Twitter message: “Please note that some media reported speculation that the Galaxy S3 subsequent models will be released is a simple rumor is not true. [If] not doing anything, why spread these rumors?”
Even though no official confirmation has been released, rumors surrounding the Galaxy S4 are likely to pop up in the future.
