iPhone 5 Lightning to 30-pin adapters start being shipped by Apple

According to MacRumors, the company notified customers who ordered the Lightning adapters that they have started shipping and will be arriving soon.

Macrumors writes that customers in Australia will get their new accessory by October 9.

Two versions of the adapter are available: a $29 direct plug adapter and a $39 adapter with a short cable.

With the new Lightning to 30-pin adapter the iPhone 5 will be compatible with most iPhone accessories. However, Apple does warn that “some 30-pin accessories are not supported.”
