MacRumors reports that the approval was announced yesterday and that the device will be manufactured at Foxconn’s factories in Brazil and China.
The site writes that the release date of the device in Brail has yet to be announced by Apple.
Official documents from the regulator also contain the manual for the iPhone 5 as it will be distributed in Brazil.
MacRumors notes that the section on Siri comes with input examples in Portuguese, which may be an indicator that the iPhone 5 will feature support for the language in Brazil.
Recent reports indicate that October 26 is set as launch date for the iPhone 5 in India.
