Russell Crowe has separated from his wife Danielle Spencer, ending a marriage that lasted nine years, Sydney Morning Herald reports.
The “Gladiator” star and his wife, Australian singer Danielle Spencer, have been together since 1989 and married in 2003. The couple has two children: Charles, 8, and Tennyson, 6.
In June, Danielle Spencer was photographed in Sydney with Australian dancer Damian Whitewood, her partner in the television show “Dancing with the stars”.
Rumors of problems in their marriage first surfaced over the summer.
However, not long after photos of Spencer and Whitewood were published, a picture of Crowe kissing Spencer at the Los Angeles International Airport caused even greater uncertainty regarding the status of their relationship.
The couple’s rep hasn’t confirmed the sad news.
