Morgan Stanley analyst Nick Delfas believes that T-Mobile could “announce official iPhone distribution in early 2013.”
He estimates that such a deal would bring one to two million buyers of the iPhone 5 in the first quarter.
At present, T-Mobile is the only major carrier in the US that doesn’t offer the new iPhone as it isn’t compatible with its 3G network.
The company has reportedly been working on improving its network across the country.
The carrier recently announced that it was merging with MetroPCS, which would allow it to increase its LTE network further across the country.
