AppleInsider reported seeing over 30 total visits in their online tracking log from machines running the OS X 10.9 in the past few weeks.
The site writes that the data may be fake, but says that the “timing and IP addresses are in line with what we expect from beta testers of the next version of Mac OS.”
Apple has been updating OS X on a yearly basis.
Apple’s current 10.8.2 version of the OS X, the Mountain Lion, was released in July.
It is unknown if the next version of OS X will be launched in the summer of 2013.
