iPhone 5 scratches two months after its launch, with and without a case

Gizmodo’s Sam Biddle has done a test to see how well the handset was built and for how long the paint on it can resist.

The images show a comparison between an iPhone 5 kept in a case in the past 2 months and an iPhone 5 that was used without a case since it was bought two months ago.

In the case of the iPhone that didn’t have a case and was kept together with keys or other objects, the corners show slight wearing or chipping.

By contrast, the iPhone that was protected in a case looks almost as good as new.
