iPhone 5 unlocked models rumored to be sold by Apple starting tonight

According to “retail sources” cited by 9to5Mac, Apple will start selling unlocked iPhone 5s on its online store as soon as 9:00 p.m. Thursday night.

Prices are expected to be set around $649, $749 and $849 for the 16, 32 and 64GB versions, respectively.

Apple has yet to provide a start sales date.

The site also writes that Apple Stores will change its Personal Pickup program that lets customers reserve devices for pickup after 10 p.m. anytime during the day.
