Digitimes reports that industry sources from Taiwan speak of an iPad mini that will have a higher resolution.
While the insiders don’t openly specify Apple’s Retina display, market watchers believe the technology is likely to be introduced in the next-gen iPad mini.
The mini tablet comes with a 7.9 inches screen with a resolution of 2058 x 1536 pixels.
In addition, the site suggests a possible modification of the system of LED backlighting of the iPad: one bar instead of two.
Apple could thus reduce the thickness and weight of the next iPad.
