3Doodler, the world’s first 3D printing pen – VIDEO

Behind this crazy project of a 3Doodler pen are Peter Dilworth and Max Bogue who are currently seeking funding to develop their project.

The 3Doodler is more of a 3D printing glue gun that allows you to draw in the air with a thin thread of molten plastic that cools quickly in contact with air.

Instead of ink, it uses ABS and PLA plastic that can perform simple or sophisticated sculptures.

The amount initially requested by WobbleWorks on Kickstarter was $ 30,000.

Posted on February 19, the project has been so attractive that it has managed to amass no less than $ 800,000 and counting.

The 3Doodler will be launched in September 2013 if all goes as planned.
