Previous rumors stated that the Galaxy S4 will come with an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor.
However, according to Korean site Digital Times, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 600, just like the new HTC One.
The report claims the change was sparked by Exynos chips experiencing power consumption issues and temperature problems.
Recent benchmark test results show that the Samsung Galaxy S4 from Verizon will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1.9GHz.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to be unveiled at a press conference on March 14th.
