Japanese blog Macotakara reports that its assembly has already begun at Foxconn.
The report states that the 5S follows the same lines as its predecessor, with a similar design and no need to adapt production tools.
In addition, Japan’s major cellular provider, NTT DoCoMo, has apparently reduced its orders for Android devices for the period of autumn and winter 2013.
This is regarded as an indicator that the iPhone 5S will make its entry in the catalog of the Japanese operator soon.
iMore’s Rene Ritchie estimates the launch of the iPhone 5S will take place in August.
He also believes the 5S will keep the same design as its predecessor, improving its capabilities.
