At the event Samsung announced that the smartphone will be launched on 327 carriers in 155 countries sometime at the end of April.
Six U.S. carriers will welcome the handset next month, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon.
Last year, the S3 was announced on May 3, with availability for May 29.
For the moment, the official price is not yet known. According to CNET, the smartphone could be priced similarly to the S3, at a price of $199 in the U.S., with a new two-year agreement.
The Galaxy S4 is available in two versions (black and white) with three different storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
