Italian fashion photographer Giampaolo Sgura has posted on his Instragram page a picture of Madalina Ghenea and Italian footballer Marco Borriello taken at a party held in Milanese club “Plastic” during the weekend. (see the picture)

In addition, blogging-journalist Selvaggia Lucarelli posted a photo on her Twitter account with the message: “Il popolo del Plastic non fa che parlare di Madalina Ghenea e Borriello intimi ieri sera nel privè.Ho trovato la foto.”

“People in “Plastic” [the club’s name] do nothing but talk about Madalina Ghenea and Boriello who were intimate last night. I found the picture.”

It was enough to get the Italian media to make all sorts of speculation on the subject.

However, going out with friends at a club doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re in a relationship with all the people you get photographed with.

Besides the picture that caused so much controversy, photographer Giampaolo Sgura also posted some pictures taken that night. In one of the pictures where Madalina is seen with three friends, the photographer wrote: “Girls wanna have fun!”

Madalina has yet to release an official statement on the issue, but instead gave an elegant answer on her Facebook account – a quote by Charlie Chaplin in Italian that read:

“Worry more about your conscience than your reputation. Because your conscience is what you are, your reputation is what others think of you. And what others think of you is their problem.”

“Preoccupati più della tua coscienza che della reputazione. Perché la tua coscienza è quello che tu sei, la tua reputazione è ciò che gli altri pensano di te. E quello che gli altri pensano di te è problema loro.” – Charlie Chaplin

Another unfounded rumor appeared in January and claimed Gerard Butler, Madalina’s boyfriend, was planning to pop the question during a Scotland vacation they made at the time.

The two haven’t made any comment on the subject so far.

In an interview with Extra, Gerard opened up about Madalina, saying: “She [Madalina] ‘s amazing. I’m having fun. I’m very lucky, she’s a great girl. ”

The couple appeared together at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on February 24.

In an interview in April last year Madalina spoke about Leonardo DiCaprio, acting and modeling. In the interview she was very discreet about her personal life, preferring to talk more about her projects.

Madalina started her acting career in 2011 in the Italian comedy “I Solita stupid”, directed by Enrico Lando.

Last year she worked on the movie “Dom Hemingway”, directed by Richard Shepard, set for release in theaters in the fall of 2013.

Madalina was awarded the “Sorriso Diverso Rome 2012” for her role in “Razzabastarda” by Alessandro Gassman, the distinction being granted by a cultural association in the context of the International Film Festival of Rome.

The conclusion we came to is … rumors exaggerate any fact ….
